Science Café @ Ijams discusses 3D printing

Science Café, hosted by David Spakes, was held last week at Ijams. The topic was "3D Printing: Changing the World" with guest expert panel KnoxMakers: Sam McClanahan, Tobby Ryan and Makhan Virdi.

It's just a matter of time before you will be able to replicate your dog, if you can convince it to hold still long enough for a 3D scan, albeit the copy will be made out of plastic.

Science Café is an open discussion about a science topic in the news. It is held almost every month at Ijams, usually on the second Tuesday at 5:30. In February the topic will be Ebola.
